We recently hosted our engagement ceremony here and it was everything we dreamed of. The nature-themed setting made the whole venue feel so peaceful, elegant, and beautiful — it created the perfect atmosphere for such a special moment in our lives. What truly stood out was the amazing customer service. The team was extremely supportive, responsive, and made sure every detail was taken care of. They made the entire experience stress-free for us and our families. We’re so grateful we chose this venue to celebrate such an important milestone. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a beautiful event space with exceptional service!

With a venue as beautiful as Sumatra, you don't have to do much. The minute we saw this venue, we were ready to say yes. Every single guest exclaimed how great it is - open, green and lush and thoughtfully sectioned. Add the villas to the mix and it's a perfect deal. We also took up the decor and planning services provided by Sumatra - Akshara was our wedding buddy throughout and she came through with enthusiasm every single time (despite certain challenges in her end which is extremely commendable). On the wedding planning services - this is the only part we felt could have been better as there was a lack of proactiveness. In full transparency, we were the ones following up on action items for the most part and the little details that make the day seamless weren't taken care of as meticulously as we would have liked. Our families were left coordinating things a lot more than they had expected. So, on the wedding planning front, the service needs to be better thought out and executed because this is a huge part where the couple and their families relying heavily on the planner for guidance and help. On decor, the organisation, planning and final output was absolutely perfect. Akshara was with us every step of the way, made multiple iterations to our moodboards and gave us thoughtful suggestions and insights through the whole decor process. So, the look and feel of our big day turned out exactly as we'd imagined (maybe even better). Overall, we had a lovely experience with the venue and their team - every single person wanted to make our big day a success and we really felt their love and well wishes. Thanks team Sumatra! Nice wedding venue. Lot of greenery all-around. Ample parking space available. Draw back is if it rains alternative arrangements not seen. First impression from the point of an invitee is very nice and good place

Sumatra truly made our wedding feel like a dream come true. We had seen it 8 months before and instantly fell in love—no other venue we visited afterwards even came close. It felt like a place we had known for years. I’ve always loved greenery and dreamt of an open wedding venue, and this space was just perfect. It’s beautifully green, intimate yet very spacious, and gave us exactly the vibe we wanted. In fact, we didn’t even need a backdrop for the stage—the natural plants and surroundings were so stunning on their own. Another big plus is its location—just 10 minutes from Konanakunte Metro. It’s not on the far outskirts, yet strategically placed so guests could easily beat the traffic and access it conveniently. One of the highlights was the beautifully designed bride and groom cottages. Most venues don’t offer this level of detailing, but here, the cottages were luxurious, private, and just 50 meters away from the main area—perfect for giving us space while still keeping everything convenient. They’re also incredibly picturesque and Instagram-worthy! A big thanks to Vidya & Mohan for their constant support and for connecting us with the best decorators and photographers. Mr. Anand, the manager, ensured everything ran smoothly with his team available throughout night, so we never had to worry about a thing. We wholeheartedly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a magical, well-managed, and memorable wedding experience.
